A random encounter or was it?

Do things really happen for a reason?Or are some things as random as they can be til they can drive us thinking about them so much?I've always thought that one event always lead to another and as small as some events can be, they could well catalyze the occurrence of bigger events! So , we have chemistry in our minds now..!
Let's generalize some equations shall we?
Say..talking about how you were born :
Mom + Dad -------> Me
(aphrodisiac as catalyst)
Ofcourse, some do adopt such system:
???? + ???? -------> ?????
(VIAGRA as catalyst)
Now let's take another step regarding to your studies:
Books + Late Night study -------> Straight A's
(coffee as catalyst)
Let's take a look at Olympic athletes:
Lazy style training + Inefficient coaching -------> Gold Medal
(Drugs as catalyst)
Politics perhaps?:
Racism + Inappropriate understanding of human rights -------> SOME MINISTER!
(Greed as catalyst)

So...today...as usual i was waiting at Taman Bahagia for a taxi...it was so jammed! Dammit! I went home late...as in...real late man....then along came a taxi...Some nice old man..he drove me home and not to mention..he ought to drive another lady along...not just an ordinary lady.An African lady,South African to be exact..Well, according to him..he was just trying to reduce the crowd..yeap very crowded at the taxi stand.

That taxi driver was really friendly....started asking the African lady some questions....like..
Real sensitive issues...like...."So,my dear...are the whites and blacks still fighting in South Africa?"...Then, he turned on some really old songs...really really old....OLDIES!...There was this sudden rush of mood in the taxi...it's like..you know..you listen to emo songs and the car just keep on moving and moving.....you look out the window...you think about the past....you think abt the present and stuffs like that? He speaks good English and ofcourse that lady, too speaks good English with some African accent..not too sure.....
So this is the old driver...never got to ask his name..This guy's a real hero...he said he was too engrossed on talking to the African lady til he lost the way back to my house...I had to pay him RM9 man! He's a real nice guy though.Explains lots of stuff about the country and ofcourse, tried his very best to tell the lady how did Islam arrive in Malaysia....Not to mention...he reminded me on certain things..like er...
-Music are the food of love, they shouldn't be loud and noisy...they should be sentimental
-We kinda actually depend on Japan to develop
-Africans were not able to make use of the resources they had back then and that's why the
westerners took advantage and BAM....there goes colonization and slave trade.
-Some Chinese men do love fat girls...(When the African lady said no Chinese man would fall in
love with a fat girl like her)

And this is the AFRICAN lady....she seemed friendly..Apparently, she studies in Taylor's College Petaling Jaya. She's 24 and she's pursuing hotel management in the Petaling Jaya campus...interesting..She seems to be really interested in Malaysian history...and she was asking me about how did Islam arrive in Malaysia....and so, I gave her the ultimate resource guide....
WIKIPEDIA.com.....According to the taxi driver...she will make a good wife, a good cook because people who studies hotel management can cook...true?Not too sure man....
Nice place....my favourite road ....hehe.....like an emo picture...dammit....You look out of the window....think about your past....your present, your future....Made me think about certain things....like the old man said....as we grow old,we will reminisce....we came to the world as a baby..grow up into a boy or a girl, then a teenager...then we become men or women..then we get settled, married and work....then we grow old...it's a cycle that we cannot escape...SO philosophical!
Yeap! On the way to KDU already hehe! There was once i took the long way from my house and walked through this flyover bridge to Atria...for what?Ridiculously...to buy some video games....DAMM...i was Form 4 back then, what was I thinking..AIYOHNESS!.....
That's KDU!..The nearest college to my house and I'm not even attending it...I'm such an idiot...there's a college nearby my house but I go all the way to Taylor's....damm..I waste alot of my parents' money then. This should be the part where I think...I really need to work hard to hit the goals that I've set...and repay my mum and dad....ahhh! Long way to go dude!

I left the taxi stand at 4.30 and I reached home at around 5.45...how ridiculous...my mum would kill me if I told her how much I spend for a taxi fare....Anyway...it was a nice encounter though...sometimes people just won't grow old at heart....Thanks to Mr I-Don't-Know Who...for being such a friendly taxi driver and the nicest one I've ever met so far...Another little thing or more about Mr Nice Taxi Driver:
-Apparently, he worked for the Royal Air Force of I don't know where but based in UK for 2 years..as a test engineer...Aircraft Maintenance Engineer WOW!
-67 going on 68 years old
-Still considers himself as a romantic person...even more romantic as he grows old
-Reminded me that it's always nice to meet new people and to be more approachable
-We don't have to grow old at heart...just stay young if we want to...=)
Thanks alot..! The best taxi ride I've ever had.....A female student from Africa...A taxi driver who speaks British English after having 2 years of working experience from UK and me....a youngster yet to achieve anything....to me..it was a random encounter ...really really random....no more words to describe it......The road is long, come on! Let's SUCCEED!
Home is still the best place to be and never forget to.....paint another smile on that face, shall we?

My Life, My College Life and the rest....

Ever since college started, many things have happened. I had been experiencing all sorts of events in my life. Like Powerpuff Girls say..sugar, spice and everything nice...and of course like Darth Vader say...bitterness, pain and lonesome..(This wan I create wan ! XD). Whatever it is..college has been a blast in my life...met lots of new friends and learned many things along the way. Since college is just once....may as well get involved in as many things as possible....Come to think of it, I've been keeping myself busy for as long as I can remember ever since college started! So here it is...my college life ladies and gentlemen....

This is my class page for Winangali (SAM Magazine) Well that's my class with me as the proud class rep woohoo! Chiun Xin as my ASS REP( I love to mention that) and ofcourse 1 of 2 girls in the class,Alisha as the class treasurer! My class comprises of 30 people, 2 girls and 28
boys....that's a bit off the hook yea? Man..I sure look macho wit the bald cut.

This is usual in class, as Mr. Sam always work hard. No matter how long the winding road is, he will never give up! Studies all the time! The guy in white is Weng Howe, maths specialist (DAMN!) Theng Fei took this picture while he admires the fact that I'm a hardworking student, hands down baby.

This is a super uglying picture of me and my handsome Physics teacher in the Physics lab. Apparently, he didnt know that I was taking his picture. He thought I was trying to show him sumthing..Sometimes, people are just so smart, they forgot the meaning of...humour.....haihhh......
Ofcourse, folks! There's always a time to act macho in the Physics lab every monday, the guy in green is Ferng Lin, showing his butt to the camera, Mr Blue shirt is Chan Wei Jian, the class genius whom JPA denied him of a scholarship,HE GOT 10A1sF U JPA!!! SAYA TAK SUKA JPA. JAGUH PENIPU AHPEK!

So, you know..when you act macho..gotta act a little bit cool also lar...
There's never a dull moment in the Physics Lab. Like for instance, macho boys like me also can go gila-gila.(AHAHAAHH) And sum people will follow you gila-gilaalso, like ZHEN JIANG next to me....the smart idiot who is best in Maths and Spec Maths. One year younger than me and go clubbing summore...what the heck man, unfair!
And ofcourse, I recall a time when I was giving a speech representing all the March intake students on Lecturer's Day in MPH. Hmm, I think...this is the part where I said...."It's ok
to FAIL YOUR FIRST COMMON TEST GUYS! HEY BOY,you can be the first!"

This is the part where I mentioned...."Why so many common tests wan?WHAT the F......."
Remember what I said about getting involved? This was taken during Agathian's visit. Had
great memories...great time....and please...Nicholas,why are u squatting on the left side looking
elsewhere?AIYOH....miss Penang issit now?-Proud to be part of Pre-Medical Society TUC 2008!
So this was taken during the start of my mid-term holidays. It was a cool Saturday evening. Had a really great time volunteering for Aids Memorial Day. I love reiterating this but here goes....
the guy beside me is Roshan, Chinese + Punjab = Chinpub XD....credits to Ken Vin, my wise wise president, who was standing behind trying to look macho...oh come on...
Going cool again, Victor on the left and Chin Jun in the middle...getting ourselves all chilling and relaxing after a long evening of..yes,distributing fliers and entertaining uninterested people regarding AIDS.(PLAY SAFE LAR!)...And yes, thanks to Victor, I'm now car enthusiast...a VERY VERY BAD interest to pick up!
Like I said...it's a bad interest to pick up...You tend to lose the sense of reality...you think you can own the most luxurious cars in the world...you think you can be rich enough to fend Oprah Winfrey off from her top position in Forbes 100 Richest Celebrities...and you have a dream car that you wanna pursue....haihh...am I gonna work my butt off not to pay the bills and the house installments but to get myself a BMW M6?
But then again...it's just too hard to resist when baby M6 is calling out for your name...as she screams in pain for your touch..as she craves that gentle fondle on her steering wheel...as she needs your feet to pump up the accelerator and shows you what she can do...Damn...

No doubt, I mix with alot of people, hehe! I'm friends with Wei Guan's classmates as well!
Though I'm not so close to Alex....We were at Nando's that day,it was just after I
completed my Physics paper and Spec Maths was on the followin day.No wonder I did badly for my Spec Maths...I hate outings in the midst of examinations! No no..I hate Nando's...no no, I should hate my procrastination!
Sometimes students get too stressed up,they do stupid things after finishing mid-terms. Hmm..
this is at Tze Herng's house...BBQ party...finely-trimmed green grass....me on the grass, Ferng
Lin trying to immitate sum Japanese fan-holding cock-kicking bastard while Yong Sheng tries the macho step on my little "brother...."..and ofcourse Ming Zu behind watching with much
"mercy".....=)
Sure, the idiot laid flat....while Leslie stepped in and look me in the eye...."How does it feel
down there?" I said...."I climaxed....."------not true!
Some idiots like me, Wei Jian and Alisha just think March intake is too easy to handle and that
we have the free time to join the debate competition.Smile what smile...AIYOH! Sorry Alisha,
couldn't make it for your birthday party that day before!
Like I said.....no need so smile-miley......just act cool...Be like me mah..aiyohh....Anyway..I got
best speaker on that day for my match, woohoo! Not too bad for a first-timer eh?
When you are in college..never ever forget to keep in touch with the old dudes! It's a general rule! A rule which needs discipline. Go out! Do something, watch a movie...talk...speak..listen,
eat....ice...cream.....-_-....in Baskin Robbins......bankrupt lor....
But...but.....it's always worth it lar....come on lar mr Sam Ye Han....smile lar....it's worth it right?

WeiHoong:"Just because you are heartbroken, doesn't mean you should get all desperate"
Sam: "What? That girl just looked at me...I can't look back at her meh?"
"By the way...where is she ar?...."
Not to mention....should always keep in touch with people who drive u crazy! See that?4 admin of Yumcha Blog wei,dun play play LOL.First time four of us are together in a single yumcha.
Yongming..haihh....u and ur stories about what would happen if all schoolmates forget each other.....dun lar so drama!
So..you'll never know you know...even the old dude next to us was trying to reminisce about his
old school days.Too much of thinking got him go GA-GA and finally tried his best to fit into....
YUMCHA....lol
One the most important thing for sure....never forget about those who make you feel like brothers, partners in crime and whatever things which describe the super uncommon but highly enviable friendship between men....Introducing....the Pork Shop Boys!(Without Lim Han Chuen)....exclude the girl down there....she is....what we call.."Irrelevancy"

And finally....the future is always bright ahead..look up dude...you'll never know what you'll find in the crowded atmosphere or the lonely shadows...there's just something out there..We shouldn't be sad for a long time...be complacent for that one moment you think you are good but never stop trying harder and harder. And most importantly....everyone deserves a smile no matter what happens or what may come along, depression, sadness, hardships or heartbreaks....so like the Joker said....."Let's put a smile on that face!"....(Random)........

It's another PMS affair...

And that was that....the affair was gone...now waiting for Victor's Monash University visit! Here I come!!! AND I STILL HAVEN'T GOT MY RM25 from HANI ZAKARIA! What the heck! AND I should have taken Ken Vin's Roti Boy and DAMN, I shouldn't have eaten Smoked Salmon Salad at Fish n' Co that day....It wasn't filling my stomach at all!...SUCKSSSSSSSSSS!!! ANd I still can't believe Roshan is chasing after a girl who's off to UK, a French chick he met from school and another Malaysian girl..Triple threat?NO LUCK FOR U DUDE!

As the topic suggests..it's just another PMS affair. It's a Pre-Medical Society Taylor's University College SUBANG JAYA affair! Alright...a bit too exaggerated but sometimes, exaggeration creates enthusiasm right? So here's the unofficial report on what happened(if only you are interested in reading it)...

I woke up at about 10am on that day,it was a Saturday. I was really bothered that morning, it should be due to the fact that....ARGHH, never mind that. -_-........I lazed around a lot by watching TV.Then, I took shower at around 1 something and I was off to 1 Utama by 2pm. Everyone who were involved in that AIDS Memorial Day thingy were only supposed to meet up
at 5pm. I got there earlier. I didn't have a purpose to be in a shopping mall myself. I was wondering around like an aimless idiot. I thought of watching a movie but nothing interests me. Then, I went to MPH. That place...sometimes...it gets romantic in the evening, haha! I was reading things about cars, movies and business. Yes, business! I want to be rich one day! It has to happened before I turn 40! Or maybe earlier...which is better!

Then, I went to Delifrance and ate egg sandwich with chiabatta bread. And,no...unlike any other bloggers out there..I don't waste my time showing people what I eat or how my food can react to a camera's flash. Sometimes, we even think our food can hear or talk to us when we actually post "their" pictures on the net.

At around 5pm, everyone gathered at the New Wing entrance. Got myself some new clothes. Well, we have to wear some similar attire which is quite eye-catching in order to be volunteers.
Apparently, we get Rm25 each! That's just small money but anyway, it's supposed to be a charity-like thing! Me, Wei Hoong and Darwin met up with Victor and his friend. I took them to O'Brien's and they ate sandwich..HAHA! Rm16.50 sandwich...and Victor thought his chicken sandwich is a chicken itself.....dumb dumb!

Moving on, met up with Ken Vin and his friend, Roshan. We ate at Fish and Co together while others were given work to do hahah! Initially, we were actually distributing fliers with Hani ZAKARIA! Who cares, we need dinner and along came Fish n' Co!

Some wore sandwich blocks..(a picture on that too)..and most of us wandered around 1U to give out fliers. I was the worst one...I had the most fliers in my hands and I didn't give out all.
At around 7.30 pm, Ken Vin, Roshan and me got back to the entrance and event was about to start and here are the pictures.....Here's another story to tell......

Yeap, this is what the PMS members were in for.We were all on a mission. Voluntary work to be exact! It's all about AIDS and its Memorial Day. Like the words suggests..."NEVER GIVE UP! NEVER FORGET!"Apparently, there were some marching band thingy goin on. It was quite well-tuned though. Those dudes in blue are called...hmm...what was it again?AHh yes! Kadet Putera if I'm not wrong. Sometimes music makes the heart go mellow and the 3 guys stood up to feel the emotion. It's that heartening....The guy in the center is not Michael Schumacher!

Some dudes like me are just so excited for the event that they actually smile all the way no matter how tiring the workload is.Some dudes like Roshan just try to act cool and thinks they are so cool that they can't afford to put a smile on their face. Well, some dudes just like to concentrate on serious business..just like Mr President, Ken Vin!
If you don't know, Roshan is a mixture of Chinese and Punjabi. According to Ken Vin the mixture is equivalent to this:
Chinese + Punjabi = CHINPUB =)

Some people are just so eager to light candles to show their sincerity in fighting AIDS even when it comes to crowding around a freakin' circle. The world is running out of wax...thanks to people like this...can wax be extinct?

Well, some just want to show some publicity to promote their status as some political figures. See the pink guy over there?Know him?Familiar with him?Seen him in our political arena before?Actually I don't know anything about him....Count the candles!

On the other hand.....some people who think they are doing a fine voluntary job can just relax and smile at the camera. That's me from the left, newbie Chin Jun at the center and Victor at the right.Behind us is a big white board where there's a BIG heart SHAPE where people can write messages regarding to AIDS and ofcourse I write the biggest stuff! You should never underestimate the power of relaxing after hardwork of volunteering!

And finally, we should never forget the ultra-hardworking volunteers who love seeking attention without saying a single word...That's a blur picture of Wei Hoong and Amirah....proudly saying...
"I'm HIV positive. Can I give you a hug?" and the other is in malay.
Way to go! MALAYSIA BOLEH!

It Was A Meaningful Outing

It was exactly this day, last week...10th of May..Some of the Pre-Med Society members of Taylor's University College visited Agathian's Shelter. So.......here are some information you may wanna know about the home.....Hmm.... *The home is struggling financially *Its run by about 7 committee members which is made up of accountants, lawyers and engineers...and some other professions which I'm not sure *They have about 30 kids *The kids are Indians *The committee members are Indians *There was a Chinese boy *The caretaker which I met was relatively....obese... *The caretaker which I met was married twice...wonder if third time's the charm.. *Pre-Med has established contact with them! So, about 41 people signed up for the trip, 37 ppl paid...and only 28 turned up...such wonderful figures, don't you think? So here it is.... At first, we arrived there about an hour late thanks to some bus driver who do not know where to go and how to get there.Anyway, when we all reached there...we had to carry so many things to give to the home.....There were rice, oil, sardines, meehoon, sugar and....more....more.....Then, as the head of the "project", I told Hiu Jian to commence the games that he had planned....Creative boy...he got us play some really fun ice-breaking game...Then, there was a magic show performance by Mr. Gur Amrit! Then, we all play....err.....recreational games? Here's it is....Here it is how things look like that day!---->
This was taken during the football session
Kids love football, we love football...Pre-Med
love football as well.....

Some guys just won't grow up..They would
rather see a younger reflection of themselves
by doing something silly like....THAT!

And the case of being young when you are old resumes...
Some people like to double the fun, so 1 seat is sometimes better for two
And that funny girl Anis( the tudung girl in pink) must be telling her friend
how much she had screamed that day...-_-

In this case, some people love swinging their youth to the maximum level.
While others prefer to dwell in their much younger side. For instance, Ye Veen is playing with a 4 year old kid..Pity that small dude...

Well, sometimes people just can't forget about the past. They just wan to keep
more memories of their younger days. To do so, they take pictures with younger kids
and of course....try to make sure that image remains for long. In doing so, Wei Hoong
is doing a wonderful job...

Well well well....here it is! The BIG GROUP that went to Agathian's Shelter!
We came, we conquered, we delighted the kids, we brought them stuffs. Hopefully, we can
see you guys again and you kids will always be in my mind. Thank you so much
for showing us that there is still a broken part in this world which needs immediate
attention. And of course...not to mention about the profit that we made from this visit.
Thanks to Nicholas Lee Hon Mun who collected the money, why must you
squat on the left side? Thanks to all the other 26 members who came! And finally, I'm
proud..standing there with my arms wrapped..I'm proud that I'm doing such a thing.
I will never forget you...Agathian's Shelter! We will never forget you!
Thanks for the short memories!
