A random encounter or was it?

Do things really happen for a reason?Or are some things as random as they can be til they can drive us thinking about them so much?I've always thought that one event always lead to another and as small as some events can be, they could well catalyze the occurrence of bigger events! So , we have chemistry in our minds now..!
Let's generalize some equations shall we?
Say..talking about how you were born :
Mom + Dad -------> Me
(aphrodisiac as catalyst)
Ofcourse, some do adopt such system:
???? + ???? -------> ?????
(VIAGRA as catalyst)
Now let's take another step regarding to your studies:
Books + Late Night study -------> Straight A's
(coffee as catalyst)
Let's take a look at Olympic athletes:
Lazy style training + Inefficient coaching -------> Gold Medal
(Drugs as catalyst)
Politics perhaps?:
Racism + Inappropriate understanding of human rights -------> SOME MINISTER!
(Greed as catalyst)

So...today...as usual i was waiting at Taman Bahagia for a taxi...it was so jammed! Dammit! I went home late...as in...real late man....then along came a taxi...Some nice old man..he drove me home and not to mention..he ought to drive another lady along...not just an ordinary lady.An African lady,South African to be exact..Well, according to him..he was just trying to reduce the crowd..yeap very crowded at the taxi stand.

That taxi driver was really friendly....started asking the African lady some questions....like..
Real sensitive issues...like...."So,my dear...are the whites and blacks still fighting in South Africa?"...Then, he turned on some really old songs...really really old....OLDIES!...There was this sudden rush of mood in the taxi...it's like..you know..you listen to emo songs and the car just keep on moving and moving.....you look out the window...you think about the past....you think abt the present and stuffs like that? He speaks good English and ofcourse that lady, too speaks good English with some African accent..not too sure.....
So this is the old driver...never got to ask his name..This guy's a real hero...he said he was too engrossed on talking to the African lady til he lost the way back to my house...I had to pay him RM9 man! He's a real nice guy though.Explains lots of stuff about the country and ofcourse, tried his very best to tell the lady how did Islam arrive in Malaysia....Not to mention...he reminded me on certain things..like er...
-Music are the food of love, they shouldn't be loud and noisy...they should be sentimental
-We kinda actually depend on Japan to develop
-Africans were not able to make use of the resources they had back then and that's why the
westerners took advantage and BAM....there goes colonization and slave trade.
-Some Chinese men do love fat girls...(When the African lady said no Chinese man would fall in
love with a fat girl like her)

And this is the AFRICAN lady....she seemed friendly..Apparently, she studies in Taylor's College Petaling Jaya. She's 24 and she's pursuing hotel management in the Petaling Jaya campus...interesting..She seems to be really interested in Malaysian history...and she was asking me about how did Islam arrive in Malaysia....and so, I gave her the ultimate resource guide....
WIKIPEDIA.com.....According to the taxi driver...she will make a good wife, a good cook because people who studies hotel management can cook...true?Not too sure man....
Nice place....my favourite road ....hehe.....like an emo picture...dammit....You look out of the window....think about your past....your present, your future....Made me think about certain things....like the old man said....as we grow old,we will reminisce....we came to the world as a baby..grow up into a boy or a girl, then a teenager...then we become men or women..then we get settled, married and work....then we grow old...it's a cycle that we cannot escape...SO philosophical!
Yeap! On the way to KDU already hehe! There was once i took the long way from my house and walked through this flyover bridge to Atria...for what?Ridiculously...to buy some video games....DAMM...i was Form 4 back then, what was I thinking..AIYOHNESS!.....
That's KDU!..The nearest college to my house and I'm not even attending it...I'm such an idiot...there's a college nearby my house but I go all the way to Taylor's....damm..I waste alot of my parents' money then. This should be the part where I think...I really need to work hard to hit the goals that I've set...and repay my mum and dad....ahhh! Long way to go dude!

I left the taxi stand at 4.30 and I reached home at around 5.45...how ridiculous...my mum would kill me if I told her how much I spend for a taxi fare....Anyway...it was a nice encounter though...sometimes people just won't grow old at heart....Thanks to Mr I-Don't-Know Who...for being such a friendly taxi driver and the nicest one I've ever met so far...Another little thing or more about Mr Nice Taxi Driver:
-Apparently, he worked for the Royal Air Force of I don't know where but based in UK for 2 years..as a test engineer...Aircraft Maintenance Engineer WOW!
-67 going on 68 years old
-Still considers himself as a romantic person...even more romantic as he grows old
-Reminded me that it's always nice to meet new people and to be more approachable
-We don't have to grow old at heart...just stay young if we want to...=)
Thanks alot..! The best taxi ride I've ever had.....A female student from Africa...A taxi driver who speaks British English after having 2 years of working experience from UK and me....a youngster yet to achieve anything....to me..it was a random encounter ...really really random....no more words to describe it......The road is long, come on! Let's SUCCEED!
Home is still the best place to be and never forget to.....paint another smile on that face, shall we?
