The Way It Was Done

Alright alright....this is a very very late post....well,whatever it is....this is the build-up process leading to the day of our trials..Using the analogy of Noah and his ark...I'm pretty sure the process that some of us went through to prepare ourselves for trials was as enjoyable as how Noah built his ark. That is if he enjoyed it....I'm pretty sure Noah did....pretty pretty sure!
Now....let me take you on a journey of how some students prepare themselves for trials.....
Before that....check this out..it's my old house...this was taken approximately a week before trials started when i was walking around my old neighborhood to buy newspaper.Hmm..still looks as good as old...and then I saw...
Chang Sin Mun's house....many of my old schoolmates didn't know that we used to live 3 doors away from each other. To Sin Mun..bro,I miss the mornings that we used to have before leaving for school in the afternoon....
I was on my way back after grabbing my newspaper..then I came across the world's ugliest car or at least that is just what I claim....TOYOTA YARIS! SHITTIEST CAR!
The wonders of our government's doings are consistently posted on our best-selling newspaper.

Moving on to our process as I've promised..we take a look at a few things. At times, we just need to relax ourselves before we sit for our examinations especially TRIALS! In this case, Chiun Xin takes a precious time to induce some humor into his emotional well-being by laughing at conventional things like cellphones so that he can decrease the stress level of examinations. On the other hand, people like Chai Yang, Weng Howe and Ferng Lin(the other 3 in white) just love admiring how "sophisticated" their hand phones are and how proud they are about it especially when they can play games with it even during lectures. But,I pity students like Tanes. Somehow, he was like an Indian boss visiting a kitchen filled with Chinese cooks......it means....CLUELESS.
Well, certain students are eager to flaunt their smartness and their studying prowess by trying to explain certain theories that we learned during lectures. What does this mean?It means some people were paying attention and some did not while lecturers were teaching. It can also mean..hmm..say..arrogance?Geniuses like Tze Herng are just eager to explain things that other ppl think are unimportant but in actual fact, it is!So what was he talking about? The Wednesday holiday of celebrating Nuzul Al-Quran..a theory inexplainable by all lecturers....but is appreciated by all students. No wonder others were paying rapt attention..look!
In the process of preparation, we can never deny the existence of hardworking individuals like SueFlyn and Ferng Lin...sitting on their chairs, studying most definitely. Then again, we have active learners like Wei Jian and Chiun Xin who can study even when they stand.Don't count Alisha out too(the girl on the left side). So there's a hypothesis...which is....=>
-Active learners emphasize a lot on action
-What do passive learners emphasize on?.......PASSION! Therefore, check out the guy by the door! FULL PASSION FOR THE DOOR TOWARDS KNOWLEDGE IN LIFE. that explains his pose.
Remember what I talk about passive learners?Students like Victor(on top) and Yee Khang(bottom) exhibit very good examples of passive learners, they have PASSION for learning! But, sometimes the time isn't right for passive learning...so my message to Victor and Yee Khang....this isn't the mating season yet.....don't make love just yet....
And there could be distractions in life trying to destroy our process in preparing for trials.Passive learners hate this.
Yet they can ignore these distractions and continue studying the way they want.....
Then, we have students like Ferng Lin and Gary who are constantly trying to find out how and why certain theories are being applied. People like them form a good a chemistry between themselves no matter where they go, be it in class or even in the chemistry lab. But, certain students like SueFlyn just can't understand how these people think. Therefore, students like her resort on learning individually, trying to understand concepts all by herself but can she handle it all by herself? But why was she having a hard time trying to understand a concept that Pn. Mahani never teach before?
That is the reason why sometimes students like SueFlyn who loves studying individually struggle.
Therefore, it is best to study in a class together where everyone pays rapt attention during lecture hours. The cool environment in the classroom can be conducive.... conducive enough for students like Alisha to fall into deep sleep....
Our ways of preparation for trials have advanced along with the flow of technological improvements. Students nowadays no longer look at books. The introduction of Information Technology and Visual Aids have changed the ways of education. The question is...can big screens like this be for the better or for the worse?
Certainly, smaller screens are the most preferable ones for students. In most cases, students like Tze Herng feel the joy of learning flowing through their veins by applying technological advancements in education. We can't deny the fact that technology has helped us a lot. It makes things simpler and easier...no wonder, Tze Herng is happy! 100% satisfaction guaranteed with no money back guaranteed as well.
Nonetheless, with pros..there are also cons..Certain students may not be able to adapt to new advancements in technology. It can cause students like Alisha to fret and to be dumbfounded before the screen of the computer due to lack of prior knowledge of using computers and managing electronic files. She could be saying...."Aiyerr....how to prepare for trials lar like this..."....Like Newton's Third Law suggests...for every action...there is always a reaction in the opposite direction which is equal in magnitude.
BUT! BUT! No matter how hard the preparation for trials is....our teachers will always be there to support us. Our lecturers will always be there to help us, watch us and guide us. They will always be behind our backs to support us. Like the picture suggests...Mrs. Banu humbles herself to sit and to stay behind our backs to support us just to ensure that preparation goes well.....watching us..guiding us...with much love and care....how lovely...

I'm sure Noah had a good time building his ark since he knew the right way to do it and he was following God's instructions.
So.....how hard can trials be if you know the right ways of preparation? HEHE !
